if you are lucky enough to live by the beach, you are lucky enough.

i can't believe it is past midterm, sometimes time just needs to stop.  i hate goodbyes and i have approximately 41 days until i have to say goodbye to most of the friends i have made here, especially the guys.  it is going to be so hard.  missions are such a bitter sweet thing.

alas, i will focus on the here and now and how awesome it is.  

this week was a good one.  since we didn't have school one monday, we started the day off with a sick pounders sesh and then decided to hit up honolulu.  CPK has never tasted better.  

and then lauren and kenzie decided to frolic in the the fountain...

this weekend we went adventuring.  even though i had the worst nights sleep imaginable, i had such a blast. we went camping on the tip of oahu, it was beautiful and i was with great company.  lexi and i found the coolest sea shells imaginable in the tide pools and we saw whales, which was even cooler.  we crammed into the back of a car, hiked through mud, roasted hot dogs and got eaten alive by mosquitos all in the name of fun.

tonight brady and i went to the temple and saw the joseph smith movie which is always a good one to see and i always love being with him. i don't know what i am going to do when he leaves.  that will be a rough day.

i am in a beautiful place with amazing friends.
