there is an old cliche.

it's late and strangely enough my only desire is not too sleep, but to blog.  it happens...quite a lot actually.

i wish i was a more creative, witty, and clever blogger.  sometimes i can't figure out how to say what i want to say and most of the time, i don't even know what i want to say.  lately i have been thinking a lot about how i want to change the world and if that is even possible.  can one person really change the world? with a population of almost 7 billion, the odds are against me.  gandhi said that you must, "be the change you want to see in the world." i guess that's the beauty of the thing.  one person can change the world.  cliche? yes.  but, if the change you want to see is more kindness, then be kind.  if you want to "save the planet", then recycle.  if you want to see more happiness, then smile.

"as human beings our greatness lies not so much in being able to remake the world...but in being able to remake ourselves." {gandhi}

simple enough...

  1. Hannah came home the other day and said "mom I think I want to get one of those Nobel Peace Prize things." Not sure how she is going to do it, but apparently she wants to change the world!
