go girl, it's your birthday

see that girl in the stripped shirt?  it was her 21st birthday yesterday.  it is crazy to me how fast time flies.  it seems like yesterday shelbey and i were taking singing lessons and stomping around the halls of timpview high together.

we celebrated by eating guru's, dressing-up in cheetah print, a bike ride, drinking martinelli's (after a failed attempt of buying rum to light on fire) and roasting marshmallows at a bon fire up the canyon.

on the brink

you best believe i spent my valentines day rollerblading with one of my besties.

and you best believe that i spent more time on the ground than i did on my wheels.

since i spend a good part of the year thousands of miles away, i miss out on certain things that happen at home.  however, the past three months i have had friends scattered all over the world so, i was not the only one.
 it was reunion time and what better way to reunite than over hot chocolate, martinelli's and fattening food?

to welcome him home we had a little kahuku grill and a late night jam-sesh.

i don't know your life

as i get older i find myself becoming slightly less interested in social settings.
the only reason i wanted to go out last night was to show face dressed up as this lady:

last night, i ditched out on my date with ben and jerry.  i had a lot better of an offer come up: 

kahuku grill, haunted lagoon and ice cream with bobby.  

and when your doubling with people like jamie and stacey you know you are in for a good time.

 

 

fifteen thousand words

while it snowed at home...

i got a 90% on my spanish test, made two trips to waikiki, ate cold stone, soaked up the sun (and rain) at kaiki's, ate p.f. changs, downed 100+ cookies and celebrated a birthday.

honestly, life just doesn't get any better than that.
